Stomped pulses/beats as a whole group, assigned half the group a different sound,

Got computers out used Word to make a table they filled in like Fruity Loops
Opened Fruity Loops and put that pattern into the program
Emiliano made a beat that the kids had to try to reproduce

Pounding out beats on the desks, one person makes one up and everybody mimics
Do the same thing but put words to the beat, everybody puts different words to the same beat
Split up into small, mentor-led groups where we practiced beats/patterns in a circle
